[923] A phenomenon (dhamma) with roots to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena pahātabbahetuka) is a condition, by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya), for a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by seeing and for a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena-nabhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka): proximity decisive support (anantarūpanissaya), natural decisive support (pakatūpanissaya).
Natural decisive support: lust (rāga) with roots to be abandoned by seeing … hatred (dosa), delusion (moha), wrong view (diṭṭhi) … aspiration (patthanā) is a condition, by decisive-support condition, for the aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā) and for delusion.
