[935] A phenomenon (dhamma) whose root is to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena pahātabbahetuka) and a phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by mental development (nevadassanena nabhāvanāya pahātabbahetuka) are a condition for a phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by mental development by way of decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya): proximity decisive-support (anantarūpanissaya), natural decisive-support (pakatūpanissaya).
Natural decisive-support: the aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā), and delusion (moha), are a condition for faith (saddhā), for wisdom (paññā), for bodily pleasure (kāyika sukha), for bodily pain (kāyika dukkha), for the attainment of fruition (phala-samāpatti), and for delusion, by way of decisive-support condition.
