[240] A phenomenon conjoined with mind and originated by mind (cittasaṃsaṭṭha-samuṭṭhāna dhamma) is a condition for a phenomenon conjoined with mind and originated by mind by way of root condition (hetu-paccaya):
Roots (hetū) conjoined with mind and originated by mind are a condition for the associated aggregates (sampayuttakā khandhā) by way of root condition. At rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi).
