Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (4) · Vol. 43 · Section 269

[269] Conditioned by an internal phenomenon (ajjhattika dhamma), an internal phenomenon arises by not-root condition (na-hetu-paccaya): At the moment of rootless rebirth-linking (ahetuka-paṭisandhi), conditioned by the mind (citta), internal kamma-born form (kaṭattārūpa) [arises]; conditioned by the eye base (cakkhāyatana), eye-consciousness [arises]. (Abbreviated.) In this way all nine questions should be done; the fivefold consciousness (pañcaviññāṇa) should also be brought in; in only three [questions is there] delusion (moha).
