[333] A derived phenomenon (upādā dhamma) is a condition for a non-derived phenomenon by dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya): conascent (sahajāta), prenascent (purejāta).
Conascent: at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), the base (vatthu) is a condition for the non-derived aggregates (khandhā) by dissociation condition.
Prenascent: the eye base (cakkhāyatana) is a condition for eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa); the body base (kāyāyatana) … the base is a condition for the non-derived aggregates by dissociation condition.
