[418] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is clinging (upādāna) is a condition (paccaya) for a phenomenon that is not clinging by dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya): conascent (sahajāta), postnascent (pacchājāta). Conascent: the clingings are a condition for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhānā rūpā) by dissociation condition. Postnascent: the postnascent clingings are a condition for this prenascent (purejāta) body by dissociation condition.
A phenomenon that is not clinging is a condition for a phenomenon that is not clinging by dissociation condition: conascent, prenascent, postnascent. (Abbreviated.)
