[1298] Dependent on a wholesome (kusala) phenomenon (dhamma) that is subject to ties (ganthaniya), a wholesome phenomenon that is subject to ties arises, by root condition (hetu-paccaya). Dependent on a wholesome phenomenon that is not subject to ties (aganthaniya), a wholesome phenomenon that is not subject to ties arises, by root condition.
