[1315] Dependent on an unwholesome phenomenon (dhamma) that is both a tie (gantha) and subject to ties (ganthaniya), an unwholesome phenomenon that is both a tie and subject to ties arises by root condition (hetu-paccaya). (Three.) Dependent on an unwholesome phenomenon that is subject to ties but not a tie, an unwholesome phenomenon that is subject to ties but not a tie arises by root condition.
