[1639] Dependent on an unwholesome phenomenon (akusala dhamma) that is to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena pahātabba), an unwholesome phenomenon that is to be abandoned by seeing arises by non-root condition (na-hetu-paccaya): dependent on the aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā-sahagata), [there arises] delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt.
Dependent on an unwholesome phenomenon that is not to be abandoned by seeing, an unwholesome phenomenon that is not to be abandoned by seeing arises by non-root condition.
