[1084] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is both a taint and subject to taints (āsavañceva-sāsavañca) and is a not-root (na-hetu), a phenomenon that is not free of taints and not a not-taint (na-anāsavañceva-na-no-ca-āsava) and is not a not-root (na-nahetu) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā).
