[1141] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāyapahātabba) that is a root (hetu), a phenomenon that is not to be abandoned by development (na-bhāvanāyapahātabba) and is not a root (na-hetu) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā).
