[1169] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) subject to taints (sāsava) that is without conflict (araṇa), a phenomenon that is not subject to taints (na-sāsava) and is not accompanied by conflict (na-saraṇa) … . Dependent on a phenomenon free of taints (anāsava) that is without conflict, a phenomenon that is not free of taints (na-anāsava) and is not accompanied by conflict arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). One. In this way it should be elaborated everywhere. (Abridged.)
