[1158] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) accompanied by conflict (saraṇa) that is both a root and accompanied by roots (hetuñceva-sahetukañca), a phenomenon that is not without conflict (na-araṇa) and is not both-a-root-and-rootless (na-hetuñceva-na-ahetukañca) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). One. Dependent on a phenomenon without conflict (araṇa) that is both a root and accompanied by roots, a phenomenon that is not accompanied by conflict (na-saraṇa) and is not both-a-root-and-rootless arises by root condition. One.
