[1230] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not both-a-root-and-dissociated-from-roots (na-hetuñceva-na-hetuvippayuttañca) and is not a root (na-hetu), a phenomenon that is both a root and associated with roots (hetuñceva-hetusampayuttañca) and is a root (hetu) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā).
