[914] Dependent on a root (hetu) phenomenon (dhamma) that is both a root and associated with roots (hetuñceva-hetusampayuttañca), a not-root (na-hetu) phenomenon that is not both-a-root-and-dissociated-from-roots (na-hetuñceva-na-hetuvippayuttañca) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā).
