[1234] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is a not-root not accompanied by roots (nahetu na-sahetuka) and is not a root (na-hetu), a not-root (na-hetu) phenomenon that is a not-root accompanied by roots (nahetu sahetuka) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā).
