[124] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not associated with mind (na-cittasampayutta), a phenomenon not associated with mind arises by root condition (hetupaccayā): dependent on mind (citta), mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) [arises]. Dependent on a phenomenon not associated with mind, a phenomenon that is not dissociated from mind (na-cittavippayutta) arises by root condition: dependent on mind, the aggregates associated with mind (cittasampayuttakā khandhā) [arise].
In the sections of the negative dyads (paccanīyaduka), one should form the questions nine by nine, so as to complete the phenomena that have not been [expressly] stated.
