[144] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not defiled (na-saṅkiliṭṭha), a phenomenon that is not defiled arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Dependent on a phenomenon that is not undefiled (na-asaṅkiliṭṭha), a phenomenon that is not undefiled arises by root condition. Dependent on a phenomenon that is not undefiled, a phenomenon that is not defiled arises by root condition. Dependent on a phenomenon that is not undefiled, a phenomenon that is not defiled and a phenomenon that is not undefiled arise by root condition. Dependent on a phenomenon that is not defiled and a phenomenon that is not undefiled, a phenomenon that is not defiled arises by root condition.
