[46] Dependent on (paṭicca) a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not accompanied by roots (na-sahetuka), a phenomenon not accompanied by roots arises by root condition (hetupaccayā): dependent on the delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā) and accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca), mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) [arises]; dependent on one great element (mahābhūta), three great elements [arise]; dependent on two great elements, two great elements [arise]; dependent on the great elements, mind-originated form [arises].
