[471] Dependent on a not-root (na-hetu) phenomenon (dhamma) that is a not-root not accompanied by roots (na-hetu na-sahetuka), a not-root phenomenon that is a not-root not accompanied by roots arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Dependent on a not-root phenomenon that is a not-root that is not rootless (na-hetu na-ahetuka), a not-root phenomenon that is a not-root that is not rootless arises by root condition.
