[995] Dependent on a root (hetu) phenomenon (dhamma) conjoined with mind (cittasaṁsaṭṭha), a not-root (na-hetu) phenomenon that is not conjoined with mind (na-cittasaṁsaṭṭha) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Three. Dependent on a not-root (na-hetu) phenomenon conjoined with mind, a phenomenon that is not a not-root (na-nahetu) and is not conjoined with mind arises by root condition. Three.
