[188] Bhikkhus, an act of suspension (ukkhepanīyakamma) for not seeing an offense (āpatti) that possesses three factors is an act in accordance with the Dhamma, an act in accordance with the Vinaya, and well settled: it is done in the presence of the person; it is done with questioning; it is done with his acknowledgment. Bhikkhus, an act of suspension for not seeing an offense that possesses these three factors is an act in accordance with the Dhamma, an act in accordance with the Vinaya, and well settled.
