[19] Bhikkhus, an act of censure (tajjanīyakamma) possessed of three further factors is an act in accordance with the Dhamma, an act in accordance with the Vinaya, and one well settled: it is done face to face, it is done in accordance with the Dhamma, and it is done by [a Saṅgha] in concord. Possessed of these three factors, bhikkhus, an act of censure is an act in accordance with the Dhamma, an act in accordance with the Vinaya, and well settled.
