[157] Bhikkhus, [an act of reconciliation possessed of] another [three factors] also … it is done after [the accused bhikkhu] has been reminded, it is done in accordance with the Dhamma, and it is done by a united [Saṅgha]. Bhikkhus, an act of reconciliation (paṭisāraṇīyakamma) possessed of these three factors is both an act in accordance with the Dhamma and an act in accordance with the Vinaya, and it is well settled.
