[25] Bhikkhus, when an act of censure (tajjanīyakamma) possesses three further factors, it is a legitimate act (dhammakamma), an act in accordance with the discipline (vinayakamma), and one well settled: it is done after the accusation has been made; it is done in accordance with the Dhamma; it is done by a united [Saṅgha]. Bhikkhus, when an act of censure possesses these three factors, it is indeed a legitimate act, an act in accordance with the discipline, and one well settled.
