[26] Bhikkhus, an act of censure (tajjanīyakamma) possessed of three further factors is an act in accordance with the Dhamma (dhammakamma), an act in accordance with the Vinaya (vinayakamma), and one that is well settled: it is done after [the accused] has been reminded [of the offense]; it is done in accordance with the Dhamma; it is done by a united [Saṅgha].
Bhikkhus, an act of censure possessed of these three factors is an act in accordance with the Dhamma, an act in accordance with the Vinaya, and well settled.
