[59] Bhikkhus, an act of demotion (niyassakamma) possessed of three further factors is an act in accordance with the Dhamma (dhammakamma), an act in accordance with the Discipline (vinayakamma), and one well settled: it is done after the accused has been charged; it is done after he has been made to recall; it is done after the offence has been imputed to him.
Bhikkhus, an act of demotion possessed of these three factors is indeed an act in accordance with the Dhamma, an act in accordance with the Discipline, and one well settled.
