[60] Bhikkhus, an act of demotion (niyassakamma) possessed of three further factors is a legitimate act (dhammakamma), an act in accordance with the discipline (vinayakamma), and one that is well settled: it is done face to face, it is done in accordance with the rule, it is done by a united [Saṅgha].
