[337] Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu deserving to be sent back to the beginning (mūlāya paṭikassana) should not walk in front of a regular bhikkhu (pakatatta);
he should not sit in front of a regular bhikkhu;
whatever is the last seat, the last bed, the last dwelling of the Saṅgha, that should be given to him, and he should consent to it.
Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu deserving to be sent back to the beginning should not approach families with a regular bhikkhu as the ascetic going before (puresamaṇa) or as the ascetic following after (pacchāsamaṇa);
he should not undertake the forest-dweller's practice (āraññikaṅga);
he should not undertake the alms-food-eater's practice (piṇḍapātikaṅga); and
he should not, on that account, have alms-food brought out to him, thinking, "May they not know me."
