[343] Bhikkhus, if a Saṅgha with a bhikkhu deserving to be sent back to the beginning (mūlāya paṭikassanāraha) as its fourth member should grant probation (parivāsa), should send back to the beginning (mūlāya paṭikassana), should grant penance (mānatta), or should, as a group of twenty including that bhikkhu, perform rehabilitation (abbhāna) — that act is invalid and is not to be done.
The observances for one deserving to be sent back to the beginning are concluded.
