[353] Bhikkhus, if a Saṅgha with a bhikkhu deserving penance (mānattāraha) as its fourth member should grant probation (parivāsa), should send back to the beginning (mūlāya paṭikasseyya), or should grant penance (mānatta), or if a Saṅgha of twenty including him should rehabilitate him (abbheyya) — that is an invalid act (akamma) and should not be done. The Duties of One Deserving Penance are concluded.
