[374] Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu deserving rehabilitation (abbhāna) should not dwell together with a bhikkhu undergoing probation (pārivāsika) … together with a bhikkhu deserving to be sent back to the beginning (mūlāya paṭikassana) … together with a bhikkhu deserving mānatta … together with a bhikkhu observing mānatta … together with a more senior bhikkhu deserving rehabilitation, under the same roof in a residence (āvāsa); he should not dwell under the same roof in a non-residence; he should not dwell under the same roof whether in a residence or in a non-residence; he should not sit on the same seat; when [the other] is seated on a low seat, he should not sit on a high seat; when [the other] is seated on the ground, he should not sit on a seat; he should not walk on the same walking-path (caṅkama); when [the other] is walking on a low walking-path, he should not walk on a high walking-path; when [the other] is walking on the ground, he should not walk on a walking-path.
