Vinayapiṭaka · Cūḷavagga (1) · Vol. 6 · Section 533

[533] Bhikkhus, here again, a bhikkhu, while undergoing probation (parivāsa), commits in the interim several offences entailing initial and subsequent meetings of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa). Some of his offences are concealed, and some are unconcealed. Having disrobed and been ordained again, those offences he formerly concealed he does not conceal afterwards, and those offences he formerly did not conceal he does not conceal afterwards. That bhikkhu should be sent back to the beginning (mūlāya paṭikassanā), and he should be given a combined probation (samodhānaparivāsa), in combination with the earlier offence, for his offences according as they were concealed.
