[534] Bhikkhus, here again, a bhikkhu, while undergoing probation (parivāsa), commits in the interval several offenses (āpatti) entailing initial and subsequent meetings of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa). His offenses are both concealed and unconcealed. He disrobes and, being ordained again, those offenses which he concealed before he does not conceal afterwards, and those offenses which he did not conceal before he conceals afterwards. That bhikkhu should be sent back to the beginning (mūlāya paṭikassitabbo), and a combined probation (samodhānaparivāsa) should be granted to him, joined with the earlier offense, in accordance with the concealment of his offenses.
