[535] Bhikkhus, here again, a bhikkhu, while undergoing probation (parivāsa), commits in the interval several offenses entailing formal meetings of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa). Some of his offenses are concealed, and some are unconcealed. Having disrobed, he is later ordained again. Those offenses which he formerly concealed, he conceals afterwards; those offenses which he formerly did not conceal, he does not conceal afterwards. That bhikkhu should be sent back to the beginning (mūlāya paṭikassitabbo), and he should be given combined probation (samodhānaparivāsa), combining with the earlier offense, in accordance with the extent to which his offenses were concealed.
