[536] Bhikkhus, moreover, here a bhikkhu, while undergoing probation (parivāsa), commits in the interval several offenses (āpatti) entailing initial and subsequent meetings of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa). His offenses are both concealed and unconcealed. Having disrobed and been re-ordained, those offenses which he concealed before he conceals afterward, and those offenses which he did not conceal before he conceals afterward. That bhikkhu should be sent back to the beginning (mūlāya paṭikassitabbo), and, for his offenses according as they were concealed, combined probation (samodhānaparivāsa) with the earlier offense should be given.
