Kiccādhikaraṇa

[658] A legal issue arising from an offense (āpattādhikaraṇa) is unwholesome (akusala) or indeterminate (abyākata).¹ A legal issue arising from an offense may be unwholesome, may be indeterminate; there is no legal issue arising from an offense that is wholesome (kusala).² ¹ [Variant, Burmese and European editions:] "First 'wholesome' occurs; afterwards 'unwholesome' occurs." ² [Variant, Burmese and European editions:] "A legal issue arising from an offense is wholesome, unwholesome, or indeterminate."
