Pabbājanīyakamma

[94] Bhikkhus, an act of banishment (pabbājanīyakamma) possessed of another three factors is a legitimate act (dhammakamma), an act in accordance with the discipline (vinayakamma), and is well settled: it is done on account of an offense (āpatti); it is done on account of an offense entailing confession (desanāgāminī); it is done on account of an offense not yet confessed. Bhikkhus, an act of banishment possessed of these three factors is a legitimate act, an act in accordance with the discipline, and is well settled.
