[218] Now at that time the group-of-six bhikkhus (chabbaggiyā bhikkhū) used pillows (bimbohana) half the length of the body. People, wandering on a tour of the dwellings, saw them and complained, criticized, and spread it about: "… just like householders who enjoy sensual pleasures" … They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, pillows half the length of the body are not to be used; whoever should use one commits an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). I allow, bhikkhus, a pillow to be made the size of the head."
