[38] Now at that time bhikkhus put away their bowls while they still had water in them. The bowls were spoiled. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. … "Bhikkhus, a bowl should not be put away while it still has water in it. Whoever should put one away commits an offence of wrongdoing (dukkaṭa). I allow you, bhikkhus, to put away a bowl after having dried it in the sun."
