[43] Now at that time bhikkhus laid their bowls down on the edge of the plastered flooring (paribhaṇḍa). A bowl rolled off and broke. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. … "Bhikkhus, a bowl should not be laid down on the edge of the plastered flooring. Whoever should lay one down commits an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa)."
