[584] Now at that time bhikkhunīs did not hold the invitation (pavāraṇā). They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, a bhikkhunī must not fail to hold the invitation (pavāraṇā); whoever should not hold the invitation is to be dealt with according to the rule."
