[1058] Where there is removal by mindfulness (sativinaya), there is removal in the presence (sammukhāvinaya); where there is removal in the presence, there is removal by mindfulness. Where there is removal on account of past insanity (amūḷhavinaya), there is removal in the presence; where there is removal in the presence, there is removal on account of past insanity. Where there is acting upon acknowledgment (paṭiññātakaraṇa), there is removal in the presence; where there is removal in the presence, there is acting upon acknowledgment. Where there is decision by majority (yebhuyyasikā), there is removal in the presence; where there is removal in the presence, there is decision by majority. Where there is a verdict of aggravated wrongdoing against a person (tassapāpiyasikā), there is removal in the presence; where there is removal in the presence, there is a verdict of aggravated wrongdoing against a person. Where there is covering over as with grass (tiṇavatthāraka), there is removal in the presence; where there is removal in the presence, there is covering over as with grass.
