[1294] How many offenses to be acknowledged (pāṭidesanīya) were declared by the Buddha, Kinsman of the Sun (ādiccabandhu)? We would hear the spheres (visaya) of you who profess the Vinaya. Twelve offenses to be acknowledged were declared by the Buddha, Kinsman of the Sun. Hear from me the spheres of one who professes the Vinaya.
