[475] "Where was the saṅghādisesa (saṅghādiseso) laid down on account of addressing a woman (mātugāma) with lewd words?" — "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." — "Concerning whom?" — "Concerning the Venerable Udāyī." — "In what matter?" — "In the matter that the Venerable Udāyī addressed a woman with lewd words."
There is one promulgation (paññatti). Of the six origins of offenses (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises through three origins: it may arise from body and mind (citta), not from speech; it may arise from speech and mind, not from body; it may arise from body, speech, and mind.
