[485] Where was the saṅghādisesa laid down concerning a bhikkhu who is a corrupter of families (kuladūsaka), on account of his not relinquishing when admonished (samanubhāsanā) up to the third time? — It was laid down at Sāvatthī.
Concerning whom? — Concerning the bhikkhus who were followers of Assaji and Punabbasu.
In what matter? — In the matter that the bhikkhus who were followers of Assaji and Punabbasu, when the act of banishment (pabbājanīyakamma) had been carried out against them by the Saṅgha, charged the bhikkhus with following a wrong course through desire, following a wrong course through hatred (dosa), following a wrong course through delusion (moha), and following a wrong course through fear.
