Katthapaññatvāra

Vinayapiṭaka · Parivāra · Vol. 8 · Section 791

[791] "Where was the pārājika laid down, on account of not relinquishing (one's course) upon formal admonition up to the third time?" — "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." — "Concerning whom?" — "Concerning the bhikkhunī Thullanandā." — "On what matter?" — "On the matter of the bhikkhunī Thullanandā following the bhikkhu Ariṭṭha, the former vulture-trapper, who had been suspended by a unanimous Saṅgha." — There is one laying down. Of the six origins of offences, it arises through one origin (as in the training rule on casting off the burden — dhuranikkhepa).
