Katthapaññatvāra

Vinayapiṭaka · Parivāra · Vol. 8 · Section 792

[792] "Where was the pārājika (offense entailing defeat) laid down, on account of the completing of the eighth ground (vatthu)?" — "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." — "Concerning whom?" — "Concerning the group-of-six bhikkhunīs." — "Regarding what matter?" — "Regarding the matter that the group-of-six bhikkhunīs completed the eighth ground." There is one laying-down (paññatti). Of the six origins (samuṭṭhāna) of offenses, it arises through one origin (as in the Dhuranikkhepa training rule). The Pārājikas are finished.
