Vinayapiṭaka · Parivāra · Vol. 8 · Section 576

[576] "Where was the offence entailing expiation (pācittiya) laid down for a bhikkhunī who, having given lodging (upassaya) to a bhikkhunī, angry and displeased, throws her out?" — "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." "Concerning whom?" — "Concerning the bhikkhunī Thullanandā." "On account of what matter?" — "On the matter of the bhikkhunī Thullanandā, who, having given lodging to a bhikkhunī, angry and displeased, threw her out." There is one laying-down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offences (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises through three origins.
