"It was laid down at Sāvatthī."
"Concerning whom?"
"Concerning the bhikkhunī Thullanandā."
"In what matter?"
"In the matter of the bhikkhunī Thullanandā neither attending upon a co-resident pupil who was suffering, nor making an effort to have her attended upon."
There is one laying-down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offenses (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises by one origin (as in the rule on casting off the burden (dhuranikkhepa)).
